Trouble with ipod turning on

    So i have a jailbroken 2g ipod touch 8gb running 3.0 and whenever i try to turn the power on, this happens and it just goes back off. (ipod is plugged in)

    Try putting it in DFU Mode, and then restoring it in iTunes.
    Or it might be dead and you need to charge it.

    Sorry, didn't see it was plugged in.

    Ok, so you need to put it in DFU Mode and restore it in iTunes. To get in DFU mode(device needs to be plugged into the computer) hold down the Power button and the Home button for 12-13 sec. then release the power button and keep holding down the home button until you hear a chime from windows. Now go into iTunes and click restore.

    You should keep it in a bowl or BAG of rice and on top of your dryer for AT least a day(24 hours) . I can't believe you turned it on only after two hours, never turn on your iPod after water damage!

    its workin good, little bit of lag going to home from an app but that always happens on jailbroken pods

    not if you dont have winterboard installed but yer good to hear its working
