I have tried several ways to jailbreak my ipod and all of them are not working.
I have an iPod Touch 1st Gen running 2.2.1 Firmware.
I am running Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.6~ and yes, I did the DFU thing.

I keep getting this message during the jailbreak.

    DFU MODE SUCCESSFUL
    ------------------

NOTICE: If the jailbreak process appears to get stuck during a 'Waiting for
reboot' stage, unplug the iPod from the computer and then plug it
    back in.

    Jailbreaking device
    Killing iTunes [done]
    Waiting for DFU device [done]
    AppleMobileDevice: usb_control_msg error -536854447
    Waiting for reboot [....]

I Un-plugged it and re-plugged it and it doesn't change.

    2. I used Quickpwn and the loading bar doesn't feel like moving foward.

    3. PwnageTool. I created the IPSW and when I go to iTunes in DFU mode with my iPod to restore. I keep getting an error message saying that the IPSW can not be read (Something like that)

    4. iFuntastic - No help at all.

Can someone please help me jailbreak my iPod 1st Gen?
