I'm on a Mac and have been using Fugu to transfers themes I'm working on over to my iPod Touch w/3.0. Unfortunately, it refuses to let me delete them. I've tried getting Info and changing the Owner and Group preferences but that doesn't work.

No, because that looks like it's PC only.

Also, I don't think it's a program issue. I think it is some prefs issue on the iPhone that I need to change but I don't know what.

    I have wondered about permissions.

I read in the forum, how to change them all first starting SSH.

I didn't do it. I was afraid to expose the iPod Touch to outside tampering.

I have changed the password, now. Now, I forgot where that thread was.

Have you tried iFile or MobileFinder from Cydia? I know for a fact that iFile can do it for you. It is a very handy app, I would highly recommend it to you.

    Thanks.

iFunBox is for MAC and i-Fun Box is for PC. I think so.

I have i-Fun Box and I right-click and delete stuff there.

However, I make deletions in Cydia, or in WinterBoard (unchecked) as first choice, to clear out any artifacts from installation.

In Cydia, I go to Manage > Packages to Remove stuff I have Install-ed.

See the problem is, when you manually transfer a theme from your Mac/PC to your iPod Touch/iPhone those themes will not show in Cydia. And a theme is only installed in one directory and not in multiple areas; like applications or even tweaks. I say iFile is the best and easiest way. If you are unable to delete the files with that I would have to say you are stuck with them. Though you shouldn't have no problems with it.

If I unzip a theme, or unrar, in iFile, I do not click Install.

I still have to put it in the right folder, for it to appear in WinterBoard.

If I "uninstall" it, in iFile, how is it easier to completely uninstall it?

I did get iFile. I don't see how it is better.
