Trouble Connecting to Wifi on Xbox 360

Hey everyone, i have an OG xbox 360 with the a/b/g/n wireless adapter and i am unable to connect to my Airport Extreme. I followed all the steps on the xbox support page but im still unable to connect. Anyone out there have/have had this problem and have a solution? thanks in advance

You might need to be a bit more specific, What is it telling you when you test it. If the bars are empty it indicates you're too far away from the wifi point.

Password protected? Set it to WPA2

first it wont come up on when it searches for networks, but i have blazing fast speed on a PS3, 3 Laptops, 3 iPhones, and an iPad. so i manually entered all of the data they asked for, and when it went to test it said it was incompatible with the hardware

my airport is set to a WEP password, and i selected that option and entered the password.

My 360 didn't like WEP

my old linksys router had a wep pass and It worked for a cpl years

c'mon someone has to know how to fix this!
