I actually find the controls of tris quite frustrating, turning or moving accidentaly at the last second, what do you guys thinks?

BTW, from typing that, i swear my spell check isnt on

Just accidentally was wrong... and isn't....
    CONTROLS:
    Down it goes down faster
left & right it goes left and right

    tapping once switches orientation.
    ...
The new update of tris wrecked it on 1.1.4 so Correct me if im wrong

It takes a bit of practice but it is ok after awhile... I prefer keys to tell you the truth

You sure about that? When i slide down/up it changes the orientation of the piece. When i double-tap it places it all the way down quickly. Swiping left/right moves accordingly. (I'm on 1.1.3, even though i don't think it makes a difference)

Personally i like the controls, but it just takes a LOT of finesse and deliberate touches to make it work the way you're used to seeing. Like Shade said it takes some practice, and then it starts getting fun.

Ya but I just updated tris and now it acts odd. It starts out and then there is just a block... i can move it and switch it, but it doesn't move down or hit the bottom ever

What version are you guys talking about? The one optikalblitz is speaking of sounds like the controls from BEFORE 0.5.

0.6 is the latest (that I know of) and it's working amazingly well on 1.1.4.

Yeah, 0.6 works like a charm on 1.1.4.

I'm running version .5 right now and those are the controls on it. I guess i'll update and see what's up.

Go higher? I can't make mine go higher...What gesture are you using to do that?

EDIT: v0.6 controls are certainly different than what I previously had. A little better. This also explains my "Go Higher?" question. New controls in v0.6 are much more intuitive..though making it go higher is a little cheatish...

ummm... you can make it go as high as it would have been if you didn't drag it down any. i think that's just setup like that so if you accidentally drag down a little when you go left or right it'll let you correct your mistake.

Yeah, I'm using those controls, but sometimes its too hard to drag up.

    Maybe I should practice....
