But i'm confused with all those youtube videos out there, saying how to do it. So I ask here in here, for anyone to tell me how to do it.

Doesn't Chameleon bootloader make things easier now?

You can't just obtain an OSX86 distro and expect it to work.

You have to see if your hardware is compatible with the OS first.
    Then we work from there.

Like bub said, you need to know all the specs and hardware of your machine before you even do anything....

make a third partition, boot into the mac disk, go to utilities and chose your mac partition then click erase tab and erase with mac os Extended (Journaled) (well thats what i used) then quit it and install mac. i know this isnt very detailed, sorry.

i have iAtkos and kalyway 10.5.2. i installed iAtkos about 4 hours ago and it doesnt let me use my laptops mouse or keyboard, i need to use a usb keyboard and mouse. so if you have a laptop i wouldnt use anything over leopard 10.5.5 because 10.5.6 and 10.5.7 dont let me use my laptop keyboard and mouse. if you have a laptop search kalyway 10.5.2 and update it to 10.5.5 using this http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=152801. im currently on 10.5.2 and updating to 10.5.5. if you have a usb keyboard and mouse use iAtkos.

if you have time to kill try iAtkos either way first.

EDIT: Does anyone know why i cant use my laptops keyboard and mouse on 10.5.6 or 10.5.7?

So... I would just download this([redacted][Intel_AMD]_PC), burn on a disc, boot it up, change the mac partition to mac os extended (journaled) via the install, then customize it with my needs and just install it?
