Hi all...I got an Ipod touch first when it came out...I also got product replacement plan with it.

Mine has acculmulated some scratches and just doesnt have the brillance it used to.

So today I went to best buy and tried to make up a bull story about how it wasnt working and they should just give me a gift card to replace it.

But apparently they have to send all ipod touches in for repair and will only give me a giftcard if they cant repair it. (Bastards!)

So what can I do to my touch that is unrepairable, but wont look like I did it on purpose and will get me a giftcard so I can get a new touch?!

    okay wait so,

if you have no warranty papers or reciepts or anything of that sort, you can still take your ipod to the applestore and tell them what afarnesi said and they'd replace it?
