iOS 5.0 Trick my IPod 2g

    So i just got Whited00r 5.2 and I found out that it doesnt support iOS 4 apps. So I thought, hmm, can i somehow trick my Ipod into thinking it's on iOS 5? Someone please help!

    The applications will not work if they require iOS 5.

    Umm, I've heard that WhiteD00r has all the features of 4.2.1 but since there isnt FWChanger for iOS 4.2.1 so i want to trick my ipod into thinking that its 4.2.1

    You can try this, but most apps nowadays are compiled for ARMv7.

    White door is modified 3.1.3. So yeah the jump from 3.x to 4.x brought huge changes to the way apps are coded so not many will work if u change the minimumOS in info.plist. And like valleyforge said most apps are compiled for the armv7 processor nowadays, not armv6
