Having a major problem transferring video to my new ipod touch. I haven't used itunes before so it's probably something simple.
I have a video that I have formatted using several different programmes to "mpeg4 for ipod touch" including Danusoft Video converter, Handbrake, as well as the converter in itunes itself.
I connect the ipod touch to the computer and all my music syncs fine but the movies folder will not sync. If I try to drag and drop a movie from the right hand column (with movie page in the left hand column highlighted) I get a circle with a line through it and the only places it will let me put it is any of the library headings, store purchased and itunes dj.
My touch isn't jailbroken and I would prefer it to stay that way as I have had problems fiddling with computers before.http://static-cache.ifans.com/images2/smilies/redface.gif
    Hope someone can help

You need to use iTunes to sync video to your iPod.

    ** iTUNES INSTRUCTIONS **
    Disconnect your iPod touch.
Click File at the top of iTunes.
    Click Add Folder To Library.
Add the folder containing your video(s) file(s).

    Plug in your iPod.
Click your iPod in the left column.
On the summary page, click the big SYNC button.

It will sync everything from your library, including the Video file(s) youve just added.
For some reason you cant copy over video to your iPod touch manually.
