I'm trying to find a way to transfer all the songs I have on my iPod to my new iMac for free. My old computer (a Dell) died a week ago so I want to get all the songs off my iPod Touch and add it to my new iTunes. Senuti is no good because I have way more than 1000 songs. I also tried iLinkPod but I couldn't figure out how to get that to work either. Any help? Thanks

there is a folder you can go into through the app you use to browse your ipod. im sure its var/mobile/media/itunes/xxxx then in one of the folders int the itunes folder there should be folders with music in the sub folders with names like LKCD or FKNC etc. copy them from the ipod to your itunes library and that should be it. i wish i could be more help but im away from home without my ipod cable otherwise i would have checked the exact location of the music
