I have an iPod Touch with a lot of music on it that wasn't purchased from iTunes; Clicking "Transfer Purchases" only gave me the few things that were [purchased from iTunes]. Does anyone know of any other way to transfer all my music onto my computer? I'm using Mac OS X 10.6, and I might be able to pay for software but would prefer not to. My iPod Touch is iOS 4.0. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Edit: Yes, I know this question has been asked before, but for some reason search keeps on crashing my browser so I couldn't find it. If someone can just link to an answer to this question, that'd be fine.

See my thread and go to the bottom under "other media players". MonkeyMedia won't work because you're on ios4, but the other few (I recommend either sharepod or copytransmanager) should be able to read your ipod and then you can copy + paste from it. Or, if you're experienced with SSH, I'm sure there's a way to do it that way.
