    I have a lot of songs I want to add to my iTunes Library. I copy and paste tunes into a new playlist in iTunes and then to the iTunes library. However, I always seem to have to locate each tune when opening the playlist. This is OK for a few songs but for a long list is a pain! What am I doing wrong, please?

    The two possibilities in my mind are:
    a) iTunes isn't actually adding them to the library, or;
    b) You are moving your music

    Please Register or Log in to view images

    Possible fixes, respectively:
    a) i) Open iTunes and click file > add folder to library.
    ii) Browse to the folder that you keep your music in and select it.
    *Note you can also choose "add file to library" and ctrl + Click / Shift + Click the files.

    b) Avoid all temptation to move around your files.
