I have a 1g ipod with about 200 apps and they are all on itunes. If I bought a 2g ipod touch or maybe a 3g ipod touch (when they come out) would i be able to get the apps i purchase on the 1g and transfer them to the newer ipod without buying them again. This sounds like a nooby question but i want to be sure.

The apps are in iTunes on your computer? If so, you'll be able to simply sync them to the new iPod.

Just sync them and they should work fine...
Well, they would probably work better on a 2G than a 1G anyway.

    What the hell?

Once you have synced your new ipod with your computer, you can download your old apps right from the app store without paying again too.
