Hi everyone. This is my first post. I just bought an iPod Touch, which is my first iPod ever!

Anyway, I used the search feature to find the answer to this, but I didn't come up with anything...

I will be out of the country starting next month. I am a rabid "Lost" fan. I do not want to pay $1.99 per episode from iTunes. I can download the episode from a ******* site onto my USB flash drive.

Is there a way to play the downloaded episode on my iPod? From the USB?

I'm pretty sure it needs to be in a quicktime format..
    In other words, MP4.

There are various free converters that can do this for you, though.

    If you're at a computer.

The iPod only supports a certain format, and its not AVI.

Google iPodME v1.2, an open-source video converter and is undoubtedly the most well-suited for the Touch/iPhone. I've been using it for months now to convert my films to iPod format without a hitch.
