Transfer apps to new computer

    If I get a new computer or if I reformat my current one, how am I supposed to transfer all my App Store apps over?

    Don't listen to him! You can't re-download purchased apps unless they are free. Same with purchased music.

    ya trust me hes right you cant!!! i just spent an hour with apple to get all my downloads bvack....just burn your itunes folder to a disk or usb drive or sumthing...then just copy them back over...you cannot get the apps for free again!

    Where are my apps stored on my computer?

    There is a Mobile Applications folder inside your iTunes Music Folder

    Assuming you're using Windows:

    XP: Start > My Documents > My Music > iTunes > Mobile Applications
    Vista: Start > Music > iTunes > Mobile Applications

    even on a mac its in the same folder....under my music and the itunes folder you will find the mobile app folder

    I tried this for vista but it won't sync my apps to my ipod. i moved all my apps to the mobile applications folder but it doesnt work.
