TRADE IN OLD CABLES FOR LIGHTNING CABLES FROM APPLE!

    Sorry about the caps, but just wanted to tell people about this!

    But I brought some of my used iPhone 4 USB cables just to try and see if I could trade them for the lightning cable, and they did it!
    Traded 3 for 3!
    Might not work everywhere but it's worth a shot! Plus it's better than spending $19 per USB!

    I would definitely do this, but my local Apple Store doesn't even have any iPhone 5 cases or cables whatsoever yet.

    Not sure if they are allowed to, but they did it for me at the apple store. I sold my 4 and had a bunch of extra cables that I gathered over time and they traded me :)

    I don't have any lightning cable compatible devices, so I don't need one, but if by any chance I have an extra USB then I'll trade one in, I don't have to worry about which Apple store has it since I have 3 local Apple stores near me. :)

    I'm sure this is against Apple's policy but the many Apple Store employees would do this. I doubt this will always happen to everyone.

    Yeah it was actually the manager that swapped em out for me! I'm just gonna keep trying every apple store I go to lol.
