This is assuming that a 3g with significant upgrades is released:

I bought my 2g iPod touch at the end of April from best buy with a 2 year extended waranty. But now that a cool new camera iPod touch is being rumored I'm kind of getting hyped about that. But the thing is I don't want to buy a new iPod for $200+ so close to the one I just bought. So I was wondering if I might be able to return my 2g for a discounted iPod touch 3g for equal memory storage (16gb). Would that be possible in any way?

    Thank you!!

well...no apple will give you a 10% discount with the trading of another ipod. i think you should try to sell it or maybe return it if they let you. iTouchGuru made a thread about this in the 3rd gen forum so you might wanna look there.

If you could return for full price, even half price, that would help a lot.
