When the new iPod Touchs come out in September/October will Apple offer a Trade in Program for people who bought the Gen 1 iPod Touch less then 6 months ago or something like that? Sorry if this a stupid question but I'm a n00b to the warranty.

I'm not talking free maybe trade in your old Touch and get the Gen 2 one for $100 less or something like that?

That would be awesome but I highly doubt that it will happen.

"I'll give you my iPod Nano for an iPod Touch."

    Apple wouldn't say yes

I seriously doubt any program would be put in place, but your best bet would to go on Ebay or Craigslist and sell it there. Then however much you get, it should cover the new next gen or at least most of it.

All rumor and speculation, but word on the grapevine is that the next line of iPods, iPod Gen 2 included, will have price cuts in order to differentiate the iPods with the 3g iPhone.

So just wait and see over the next few months.
