Every now and then, multi touch events stop working entirely on my MacBook Pro, early 2009, 13 inch model. Is there anything I can do about this? A way to reset the trackpad without a reboot?

EDIT: mainly this is troubles with 3+ finger gestures. scrolling still works fine with 2.

Mine occasionally does this on my black book. It must be a software glitch.

When mine does this I turn off the finger gestures and turn them back on, always works for me.
