I did everything and for some reason it is not connecting.

I entered my password and it said it had to be under 8 so I made a password under * clients and did everything else needed but still no access. Like your video it takes forever to try and connect then fails. I have triple checked everything and done everything over again and still nothing.

[ EDIT ] I figured out what was wrong. The program isn't saving my password at all. I put in a 6 client password and press apply, then ok. If I open the program up again it is still 7 clients.

sometimes its a little confusing, i figgured it out, theres somting with a server and a port.

and if you click on the x and try to go back in at the same time it wont work for me
you might try exiting out of the program and going back into it

    thats worked for me

    i have my session name
    adress 192.168.x.x.:xxxx
then my password, and it works fine

check your port and password and it should work.

your firewall is blocking port 5900, open 5900 and it'll work. And make sure you only put in your IP address into touchpad.app... so 123.456.789.1 and NOT 123.456.789.1:5900

I tried that and still no. I even allowed the entire program through the firewall. Maybe its a router setting. I am on wireless (obviously) but I am using a westell router and it sucks.

Any suggestion for an XP PC. In my router setting it is set up to allow access on 5800 and 5900. My router actually has default VNC settings. My firewall is set up also.?????????????

    Thanks for the response.
