after jailbroken, just update first your installer and than refresh your sources. Thats what i do and i think i've read it more than enough times in this forum too.

Works on Mac + 16 GB ipod touch

    Thought I should share this..
I've got 16GB ipod touch running 1.1.4, MacBook Pro with Leopard 10.5.2, and iTunes 7.6.1, and the unlock worked for me. Here are the steps I used:

    1. Shut off ipod: Hold power button, then slide finger across to power off.
    2. Restart ipod in Restore Mode: Hold Home button and power button. When Apple logo starts, release power button.
    3. Eject from iTunes: When iTunes recognizes ipod in restore mode, click "ok", then eject (using button in lower right-hand corner).
    4. Close iTunes.
    5. Start Ziphone. Click jailbreak ipod touch.

The first time I ran it, it hung at "locating ipod..", so I clicked "kill ziphone", then clicked 'jailbreak' again. It worked.

Your process is obsolete. ZiPhone 2.6b Does all that in 1 Step.
