You have to Clear/Fix the NVRAM. This is found in the Advanced Features for Windows. On Mac OS X, its found under the "File" drop down menu. This applies to ZiPhone 2.6b.
You won't have to delete your Music if you are on 1.1.3 or 1.1.4. Also, make sure you RESTORED 1.1.4 or 1.1.3. Not Updated to 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 jailbreak. You can also keep your Videos, Web Clips, and Preferences.
After jailbreaking, do I still need to install some apps from the "Installer" befor I start modding? Thanks in advance. And how can I get the "sources"?
Sources are added in the "Sources" tab. You have to look around the forums or Google for sources to add. Before you start "modding" install BSD Subsystem & OpenSSH. Two most important things.
I,ve been reading this thread for 4 days now just to prepare for my first jailbreak and other threads too and i could say that it made me convince to jb my 4 month old touch. I could say that i was successful and now enjoying all the possibilities of my new jb touch. Thanks all to others around here for their inputs and infos and i could say that ziphone was really one hell of an app. Thanks
I got everything working but i have 2 questions: 1: Why can't i move icons anymore with the squiggly move option? 2: Where did the mail and weather apps go? I was on 1.13 jailbroken, i restored to a proper 1.14 and then broke with the 45 second fix, it is working but i need to know the answers to 1 and 2 please
Ok, so i got the jail broken 1.1.4, by using the Ziphone thing. I go to install BSD subsystem and it said: Error, failed to download. I have tried everything i can think of. I un-jailbroke it and redid it and it still did not work. I turned it off and on, i did everything you could think of. I even downgraded it to a 1.1.2 jailbroken itouch and it still did not work (the BDS subsystem) I then upgraded it back to the 1.1.4 and it still does not work. So if anyone knows whats up, please inform me. Its really annoying
