    It doesn't matter what version of iTunes you have. It doesn't need it.

    hey..well i have a jailborken ipod touch vr.1.1.2 and i was wondering if i should update it to 1.1.4 and how would i be able to do that with out losong my stuff, if their is no way and i have to restore my ipod then i will so, but i ave not been to this forum for awhile and have forgot where everyything is. and lookn at this Softaare...it helps JailBreak Ver.1.1.4??

    I just did it last nite on a Mac, Jailbreak 1.1.3. I updated to 1.1.4 through iTunes, then I went and used Ziphone. No problems whatsoever!

    Hi first of all, sorry about my english jejeje, i was in the same situation(1.1.2+jail+16 gb), so i sync my ipod last time with itunes and click 1.1.4 only dowload on itunes, then i do force restore with 1.1.4 (just download on itunes), then eject in itunes, then close itunes, then open ziphone 2.6b click on jailbroke ipod touch, take about 30 sec. and chachan!!! ipod 1.1.4 + jailbroke, thats not all.
    after that i installed bsd subsystem with installer and the iphone's apps from the ipodtouchmaster repository, at last connect to itunes and saw a question "new ipod" or "ipod burntspawn" click the last one and voilla!! all my calendar and contacs back to my new firmware, then sync and you'll have all you music, videos and photos! back.
