I'm sure you guys have already discovered but in an effort to share how I use my Touch.

    1. WiFi detector. Walked out on my street and my Touch picked up 3 WiFi connections- 2 secured and 1 unsecured! I was able to surf the net for over 100metres from my house!

    2. DigiPhoto frame: same as the ones you buy for $100. Just sync your iPhoto library. Select Settings|Photos| then set slide duration/transition and whether to repeat or not. Activate the slideshow, use the little plastic pedestal to hold the Touch upright, turn the Touch upside down (why? watch next tip) and sit back and enjoy.

    3. Use a headphone jack to stereo connector and connect your Touch to your stereo unit. Select your slideshow, activate. Sit back and enjoy your slideshow and your music!

    Other uses?

    Thats just about it...

There will never be third-party apps, at least not those lacking sanction from Apple. This device is locked down mighty good. The "iPhone Dev Team" looked like superheroes, but in retrospect, they were able to do what they did becaue the initial iPhone firmware was as open as an 11th street hooker.

I hope I'm wrong, but my bet is that they can't do sh*t on these now.

mehh- developers are always outnumbered by hackers and enthusiasts- they can patch all they like, but where there's a will, there's a crack

I hope you're wrong too, but if you're not, I still love my iPod Touch!

I mostly use mine as a cat toy. Since the chrome lets me reflect spots of light in three different places, I can entertain up to three cats at one time.

    Now, how's that for multitasking!

I'm using it to check the boarder crossing car lanes in South California, much faster then turning on my pc and wait for Winblows to boot up..

Hotspot finder, etc.. and soon to also entertain my cat and dog, nice tip there SkylarEC! haha
