i bought the wire to connect to my TV and for some reason it doesn't work. yes i tried video and music... when i play it on an older TV sound plays but on my tv which is newer it doesn't work. with the touch and the classic when it plays it just shows the screen going fuzzy and white.

return and forget or am i doing something wrong?

I'm not even sure you can get video through the headphone jack? But besides that, the 2G touch only works with Apple A/V cables. For the classic, you can order the 10 dollar AV wires from ebay.

Oh that sucks. You can't switch the colors around like you could with the 5G iPod Video for the 2G Touch?

I'm gonna test this out if I get a 2G for xmas.

Mabey it's the channel of the tv. Try Video 1,2 or 3.
