I've got an Ipod Touch 16GB working normally. I left it in Sleep mode and it ran out of battery. After that, the touch screen was not stable. When the touch screen is not responding have to Sleep/Wake 1-2 times and it's working again. I think the battery caused the problem. Any advices???

    Thanks all in advance,

    Saodo@

I don't know if this is the same problem as the one you are having. Today my ipod's touchscreen was really laggy. Not TOTALLY unresponsive but laggy enough to strain the eyes when I was browsing through songs. Yesterday, I disabled my theme background from the summerboard and instead applied a picture from my picture folder as the background. I re-enabled the summerboard theme and somehow my touchscreen is working again. You might want to try this, although your problem seems to be more severe than that of mine.
