My 2nd gen ipod touch got water damaged...i have successfully dried it out replaced lcd and touchscreen digitizer, but the screen is 100% unresponsive. In a previous thread someone had similar problem with his 1st gen touch and showed pics of a burnt resistor and another of the repair.i was hoping someone could help me locating the resistor for touch screen on 2nd gen
or any other possible reasons as to why my ipod isn't responding to touch.
    many thanks in advance.

Check to see if the digitizer is plugged in correctly.

i'm no expert on electronics but it looks fine to me. I know how delicate the connector is so when i was fitting it i was mega careful not to stress the ribbon?
