    I have a 1.4 jail broken 16g touch.

    2 problems came recently

The touch screen works on the spring board. i can scroll and get into any app. i can also wiggle. Now the little drag button in the bottom corner don't work.
Once i open any app the touch screen just stops working. the app still runs like it should.

also when ipod auto locks or you use the sleep button on top. the ipod doesn't fully sleep. it fades or dims and acts like its sleeping.
but i can still see the globe wallpaper, slide to unlock, battery bar, padlock symbol and wifi.
the touch screen does not work. press button to wake up

No new apps in past few days. My nephew was playing icopter and sand. I don't know what he did.

I'd hate to restore and go thru everything again. but will if needed. cuz this thing is no use to me if you can't turn the music on. or play games. or anything

    Thanx,
    Dubs

The dock app (the little sunburst thing in the corner) is causing the problem. You have to remove it through ssh.

    Nope.

just uninstall the dock app( the sunburst thing in the corner) that is what is causing the problem you are having when you can't do anything in the apps.
