Touch became bricked because of low battery - PLS help!

Discussion in 'iPod touch 2G Jailbreak: redsn0w, 24kpwn, etc.' started by deleted account, Feb 8, 2009.

  1. I've made a severe mistake. I restarted my 2G Touch in order to install some stuff from Cydia. Then I was trying to boot it with iRecovery, but unfortunately one of the 3 files was missing and I needed to extract it from a firmware, however, I couldn't find it so I downloaded it again. But I was in a hurry and I could not finish the reboot process and I think I've left the Touch for a day in DFU mode. Now, it's completely bricked, I cannot even hear any sign of the USB activity, so I think it has completely run out of battery. I can't put it into DFU now either, and the cable is not charging the battery.
What do you suggest me to do? Please help!

Plug it into your Xbox, PS3, wall charger.. or anything with a USB port, it will charge.. then do the boot process

It should.. just get it charged to enough level so you can boot it, then you can charge it normally.
  5. Okay, thanks, I'll do so
