Hi. I've been working for a couple hours now, trying to get any of the apps that utilise the iPod Touch as remote touchpad to run under Ubuntu 8.10.

The most promising so far was Nam's Remote, but even after reinstalling Java, I could not get the server app to run.

I know not many of you are ubuntu users, due to the frustrating lack of iPod Touch support, but figured it would be worth a shot. I'm thinking about trying to use Wine, but I'm almost totally sure that won't work. Any ideas? Thanks!

So I got Nam's remote to work, but its still not perfect, there are many things that don't work. There must be something else. It would be awesome to have to work through usb, rather then wifi. Maybe this will be possible with the changes in the 3.0 firmware.
