I've done an complete jailbreak with redsn0w version 1 1,5 months ago. Later, i've accidentally turned my ipt2g by the normal way (slide to power off) but then it wont even get into **REAL** DFU mode:
i connect my ipt2g to the computer and i get the "not recognized"
after that i put my ipt into DFU and that "not recognized" message disappears and iTunes says its in "Recovery Mode"

BUT==> when i try to use any booter, its says "iPod NOT in DFU" and when i try to recover it from the ORIGINAL firmware i get the "error 1601"

    List of the DFU helpers/booters:
    • dfuhelper
    • redsn0w with cmd
    • voltage
    • 1clickboot
    • DFU (by an unknown guy)
    • DFU helper (comes with voltage)
    • DFU helper cmd type
any help will be really appericiated

PS:i've read all of the "cannot be bricked" explanations and FAQ's

i actually had the same exact problem earlier today. the thing i did that finally worked was to open itunes and plug the ipod in. thenhold power+home for 10 seconds till the little yellow bubble pops up and let go. then try to put it into DFU mode(Power+home for 10 mississippies then only home for 8-10 mississippes) then I used 1clickboot. now i would get it to the boot screen a few times and it would just go black after a few seconds. But i just kept trying again and again till it worked. Also remove the usb cable and reinsert it to reset the usb settings if it doesn't work. the problem with the teathered jailbreak is there is a lot that can fail due to timing and user error. if/when there is an unteathered version it'll be a lot easier.

Oh i forgot, I also turned off the ituneshelper process because it seemed like it was trying to sync while 1clickboot was running and messing it up. i have no idea if that is true, just seemed like it to me.

It's not bricked. Learn what the hell the damn word means before you ever use it.
If anything even pops up, it's working...

And I guess you finally got it working.
You were doing DFU wrong, or something was messing up your booter.
