I am wondering if anyone can integrate Top Secret.app into another commonly used application or feature? The reason I ask is simple. If someone steals the iPhone or iPod Touch, there are other apps the thief would open, like Safari or even attempt to setup a new wi-fi network. Logic would dictate that the thief would want to know things like firmware info in settings and whatnot. Ultimately can this be done?

I am thinking that hiding the app with spoof, after manipulating the app to open in the background under an assumed application might work.

My other potential solution, which may be easier, would be to change the icon and display name on the springboard.

    Your thoughts?

1.Use rename.app to change app labels
2.Find a theme and switch around the names of the icons.
3.apply theme and rename, when necessary.

Isn't there already an app that does this called Lock Down? I've never gotten it to work though.

I love to have a quick way to put a pascode lock on mail, etc. So if someone barrows my iPod or I would loose it or something, they can't get into my stuff.
