This is a discussion thread for the "Top Samsung Chip Designer Hired by Apple" story posted on the front page.
I don't see the point in this article. Not hating, but I just don't see the point. Maybe be because I'm intoxicated or I just don't see the point at all. But all companies seem to do this at one point or another. Hire from another companies. It'll all turn out the same in the end.
This is a fairly significant loss for Samsung. It would be like David Ortiz leaves the Boston Red Sox to play for the New York Yankees. Actually, if you think about it, that's a perfect analogy: Star player David Ortiz (representing the top chip designer) on the Boston Red Sox (representing Samsung) leaves Boston and goes to their rivalry team, the New York Yankees (representing Apple). Fans of the Boston (or Samsung) disapprove, and fans of New York (or Apple) approve but at the same time are somewhat irritated that the player comes from their rivalry team. Also worth noting, New York (Apple) has been a significantly better team than Boston (Samsung) this year, winning more games (or lawsuits).
why is ifans news always so slow? do you guys just take articles from other news after they've already published it? i've already read this like a day ago on 9to5mac.com
