so, im not sure if this is normal or theme related, but when i am on home screen or other places the top bar test is white and nice.

when i open safari or similar app it goes indented with more depth and shadow:

you can set the edit the following key

    <key>StatusBarContentsMode</key>
    <string>0,1,2 OR 3</string>

for the string choose a number and see what happens?

Description – Forces the use of only one of the two sets of status bars icons (the little icons that appear on the status bar). “0” defaults the “Default_BG” status bar icons, and “2” or “3” defaults to the FSO_BG status bar icons. Note: using the “StatusBarMode” key will automatically impose the corresponding StatusBarContentsMode string. Use this key if u want a different string to be utilized.

see if any of the stuff changes........

is there already a status bar related string in your .plist?

no there wasnt, but i tried:

    <key>StatusBarMode</key>
    <string>2</string>

it works for everything but safari, and photos it goes white with white text.

i have not renamed any files and i have no files called FSO_BG in my theme folder.

maybe i need to add it somewhere, any ideas where?

i have located the "StatusBar.png" at the root of the theme folder and corresponds to the status bar effect i want all the time.

Must i rename it and place it in other folders for it to work in safari and photos? Where?

if you have the "StatusBar.png" that you want all the time, i think you should remove the

    <key>StatusBarMode</key>
    <string>2</string>

the 2 can conflict with each other and become confusing

I had a transparent "StatusBar.png" in the root of my theme, and it NEVER changed. It was transparent all the time, in EVERY app

anyway did it fix your issure? i thought your problem was more with the text contents of the bar and not the bar itself?

nah, i wanted the statusbar to be like the top picture all the time. let me try remove it and see.

edit* i removed the extra files i had placed and removed the lines from info.plist to its back to the normal theme (how it came) and the status bar sometimes goes grey with white writing, grey with dark writing or stays transparent.

still cant get it to be transparent all the time!

    any ideas?

Whatever "StatusBar.png" you put in the root should be in use 100% of the time unless you have another theme above it in the winterboard list overriding it occasionally or a .plist key

    8.) Key – “StatusBarContentsMode”
    String – “0”, “2”, or “3”
Description – Forces the use of only one of the two sets of status bars icons (the little icons that appear on the status bar).

This should apply to the things IN your status bar, not the bar itself

Also, i know you can fix the status bar clock with this >>>

    Key – “TimeStyle”
Description - Modifies the Status Bar time. Can change font, color, position, etc.

    <key>TimeStyle</key>
    <string>margin-top: 1px; margin-left: 3px;</string>

    <key>TimeStyle</key>
    <string>color: yellow</string>

    <key>TimeStyle</key>
    <string>text-shadow: black 2px 2px 2px</string>

or you can put them all together like this >>>

    <key>TimeStyle</key>
    <string>margin-top: 1px; margin-left: 3px; color: yellow; text-shadow: black 2px 2px 2px</string>

As far as your "Rishi" carrier logo, you can change that with a .png in the >>>

    /var/stash/Themes.XXXXXX/Your Theme.theme/Bundles/com.apple.springboard/

put "Default_CARRIER_IPOD.png" and "FSO_CARRIER_IPOD.png" in there

    size 75 X 19
