Okay so a while ago I downloaded a source list. But only now has it decided to impliment this list. I now realize that this list is much too big and constantly freezes my installer.app. It will take waaaayyy too long to delete all the dead sources because it takes about a minute to delete each source. Is there any way to just delete all these sources from my computer or to do it much faster?

See there's a problem. It pretty much freezes my iPod to go into any of the categories in the install tab. Can I SSH it into my iPod?

There is another called "All Sources Cleaner" that will delete all your sources and you can start from scratch.

There is another one called "Refresh Faster" that will deleted all untitled and duplicates for you which may solve your problem. I would try this and then manually delete some unwanted one until it works for you.

These are both Apps in installer that delete your sources.

If you can't get in to installer you will need to SSH in and delete the RemotePackages.plist. That will at least allow you to get in w/o installer crashing.

Right I had read that in another topic. But it seems to still be refreshing all of these sources.

Okay so my ipod is updating sources and gets stuck. I can't do anything with it. I deleted that file in the ipod through SSH but it keeps coming back.

another solution is to turn off your wifi

This will allow you into installer and it won't crash while refreshing

Then you can delete the sources manually, you shouldn't need to do them all, but start with the unnecessary ones.
