Oh, but he's wrong. The Xbox 360 doesn't have an Apple logo on it. ;)

BBC iPlayer makes the Xbox 360 pro, it's better than the website, except you can't stream live just yet.

    May need to fix that.

    Anyway, I'll disregard this story.

There are 200+ million iTunes accounts, majority of which have paid content. None of it works on the Xbox. All of the hundreds of thousands of iOS devices would most likely have special connectivity, may even mirror their display onto the TV, none of which possible with an xBox. Can your computer mirror it's display to a television through an Xbox? I don't believe so... Yet anyone with a Mac will soon be able to do just that with Airplay mirroring.

People knock Apple for having a closed system, but because of how popular it has become, it puts any other attempts to shame.

Yes, the Xbox can probably do much more than an Apple TV could, but the Apple TV will still sell at insane numbers.

We'll see what happens when the next Xbox comes out, that shall be interesting, also the thing about mirroring the display you can just do that with a TV. Yay for competition.

I realize that I am posting this on an apple fansite but... Apple really doesn't have anything that competes with the Xbox. The Xbox more likely than not has the biggest gaming community in the world. The closest competition that apple has to this is probably the iPod Touch, and Temple Run doesn't really stack up against Halo, if you know what I mean.

On a side note, ironically, I bet there are more games available for the iPod touch than for an iMac.

I'd still use my Xbox 360 for things like Netflix if it didn't require me to subscribe to Xbox Live. $15 a month is too much for full internet privileges. If anything, it should be $15 a year rather than $15 a month.

It costs me less than that in pounds, also you can't really complain about the price of Netflix considering what you're getting for your money.

Isn't Apple's strong suit sleek design? They know how to put out something that is user friendly and looks beautiful, I think they master that more than any other tech company out there. I mean, that's what made them big in the first place. And the fact that they put so much effort in to those sort of things helps them sell a lot...

I mean, there are much more powerful computers than a Mac, so why do people keep buying Mac's?
