the TomTom car kit that offers secure docking, enhanced GPS performance, clear voice instructions and hands-free calling, while charging your iPhone at the same time.

will this maybey work on ipod touch 2g? since it is maybey a external gps?

So no Eastern Europe ? That's dumb... iGO My Way is good enough even for Romania. Even without GPS. And by stripping it of foreing countries it takes up 119 MB.

the price is a rip off in my opinion
why not just get a tomtom gps itself for a little over $100, that way you don't have to worry about having your phone all the time as a gps ...
maybe if it was prices less, than it would actually be worth the savings

    I have Touch 2G 3.0

I am using xGPS found in Cydia, with Orange Gadgets GPS360 and the GPS Serial found in Cydia makes it work with many iTunes App Store apps.

$75 Orange Gadgets GPS360 charges the Touch, while in use, as well.

I used it for a driving trip to Glacier National Park, Montana and back to greater Portland, Oregon only days ago. I used it with Maps, MapsBuddy and MapQuest, as well as Rest Stop, TWC (The Weather Channel) and Weather Radar, for animated weather radar. (I use it with Backgrounder, so I can use the other apps.)

It navigated me easily thru the difficult Pasco-Kennewick, WA mess. I love it.

    It has voice.

I will look at Tom Tom, but I am happy.
