The app says it is compatible with the iphone and doesn't say anything about compatibility with the ipod touch. It mentions a car kit for the iphone and a website iphone.tomtom.com, but again nothing about the touch.

Could you not use a cheap bluetooth type gps receier paired with the ipod to use the tomtom function ?? used to do this with one off my old nokias and it worked a treat !!

bluetooth gps receiver on ebay was about £40 if I remember correctly ??

Yes actually there is, check out www.roqy-bluetooth.net. You can pair your ipod with bluetooth gps receiver (must have ipod touch 2g/3g for bluetooth). I currently have ipod touch 2g and i use navigon on a daily basis.

I have a 2g and use roqy with a holux slim 240 gps with the tom tom app it works great. You have to have locations service turned on in settings. It works good with most of the other gps apps also

Okay thanks for that, bit confused what the serial number is that it is asking you for when applying for a licence for the above software ?? mentions 32 characters ??

Okay worked out what the serial number its asking for, just wonder what this software gives over the standard bluetooth software built into the ipod touch ??
