Today I am finally getting rid of my computer. I got it in 2003 and it was our first family computer. It has been mine for like 3 years now. I know it is a piece of sh*t, with the original HD at 37 GB, and the original RAM at 256 MB, but still, a lot of memories on this thing. Playing StarCraft for hours, being all caught up on the internet. But now that I have my laptop, and my whole family has ones, we do not need it. Still, I am gonna miss it. =[

Then just keep it? You don't have to throw it away.

My basement and room is cluttered because of that same feeling.

Yeah. Clean it up, wipe the disk, throw some lightweight linux on it, and you've got yourself a "net-top" that could function as a file/print server for the house.

    I know how you feel.

Just a few months ago, I threw away my TV from 1983 (with KNOBS, it's a Zenith Z1310PT, you can't even find a picture online

37 GB server does not sound very fun.

Well the NEW HD is 250 and I had it upgraded to 2 GB RAM. But parents said it had to go, so I am selling it. So yea, I DO have to get rid of it.
