Can I call Apple and tell them my problem and they will send me a new one? Then when I make sure the new one has no problems I send them back my light-leaking one?

As long as it's still under warranty you can get it replaced.

I honestly could care less if I had a light leakage.I have an OtterBox Defender which even if dust can get it it will 100% make sure nothing gets inside.

Amen, light leakages aren't a big deal IMO.

Yeah, but still...if I can play with mine while Apple sends me a brand new (hopefully problemless) ipod it's a plus!

I feel left out--my touch doesn't leak light. Nor does the video have clicks in the audio with wifi ON.

Can people post pics of their light leaks? I have one, but it's so small that even in the dark I don't notice it unless I'm actively looking for it.

    LMAO NO.
Really think Apple will trust you?

    This is what you do:
Go on Apple website and do this and that
Then they give your address and you send your iPod in
If they check your iPod has the problem you stated they'll replaced it and send you a new one in about 3 days.
