A lot of people have been having problems with Blackra1n not going to the geohot splash screen but are going to just a black screen.
Or if you are stuck in the Recovery Mode Loop.

The problem persists with machines running with USB 1.1 ports.
Blackra1n exploit sends the jailbreak files and because USB 1.1 is so slow, the file send times out and that's how you get that infamous "Black Error Screen". (This might also happen with machines with processors under 1.0 GHZ - I can't verify this, but this seams to be a factor in the error)

RUN BLACKRA1N WITH A MACHINE WITH USB 2.0 OR HIGHER.

As for you folks who are stuck in the Recovery Mode Loop (DFU Loop), run blackra1n on a USB 2.0 machine and then you'll be all good.

    Hope this clears all issues

mpappa31, try a different port, more i really don't know.
From my experience though, USB 1.1 is not compatible with Blackra1n for sure

If changing ports doesn't work, check your USB drivers or hardware.
