To buy or not to buy

    New member to site. Have been smitten by the itouch since it came out. Put off by some early problems. Any regrets out there?

    most problems fixed by now with the new 1.1.1 update.

    Unless you have wild expectations about being able to hack or add 3rd party apps, I'd say go ahead.

    Does it do all the things I think it SHOULD do? No...not yet. However, I believe it's just a bit of a waiting game, and in the meantime I'll enjoy this fantastic piece of technology.

    I bought the 16GB version instead of 8GB for the sole reason that I'm confident that in the future we'll see functionality added to it (Notes etc). We all know you can never go wrong with extra space.

    Your points were helpful. No new tech is perfect but sure is a lot to enjoy in the mean time.

    I would get it. I bought mine on the 15th and I still love it as if it were brand new (and I get bored with things quickly).
