First and foremost, thank you to all the dev teams who put their time and effort into this newfound exploit. Truly, about a third of the IPTF community has been anxiously awaiting this release.

If you are a new user [or guest who is just looking for help with the jailbreak], please refrain from single-mindedly throwing questions at the Dev Teams, Musclenerd in particular. I'm sure he'll appreciate it.

The first thread announcing the untether has already been flooded with people asking for help.

I know this is probably overwhelmingly exiting for a few, but don't rush into the jailbreak yet.

2 things are pretty much guaranteed:

    - 1 or more tutorial threads will be created on this forum very soon regarding methods of jailbreaking
    - A new version of Quickpwn will be released after the Dev Team collaborates on it.

Musclenerd released the untethered patch so that people could either learn from it, or use it if they are experienced.

So feel free to jump into jailbreaking, but use some common sense.

    Well crap.

I got my iPod into DFU, wasn't paying attention, prepped for normal JB, synced up new bundle, and now it won't go into DFU, Recovery mode, or boot normally.

    What do I do?

Your signature would be more accurate if you said the dev teams instead of musclenerd

Anyway, Muscle put it up to show that we indeed already had it and so that people would not pay for something that we already fully understood and could package asap. tbh it would be best for most people to wait for new rev of PwnageTOol and QuickPwn
