Guys seriously, don't do the ziphone jailbreak......yet.
I know it works for most people, but the people who have BL 4.6 or it just doesn't work for, some have no way yet to fix it. Look how many threads there are of people who are getting the wait 46 error, or other errors! All i'm saying is to wait for a version that works ATLEAST 95% of the time

Yeah you are right but you have to wait until 99.9% works.

    iPod Touch has a bootloader?

The Bootloader comes from the iPhone's baseband.. Soo....

exactly what i was thinking, but i didnt want to say 99.9% because people would say "Oh, that'll never happen, there is always room for error"

i know from my experiences with mp3 players: you never want to mess with the bootloader unless you are absolutly sure what you are doing is safe, and you know what you are doing

yeah and people, STOP POSTING ABOUT HOW ZIPHONE WORKED FOR YOU.
that'll give other people false hope to try themselves and mess up their iPod.
If you used ziphone and it worked, bravo no need to tell everyone else to try

Yeah Bootloader is an iPhone-only thing lol. Not once in my time on these forums (registered and unregistered), have I ever seen a reference to an iPod touch bootloader. But I have seen a way to turn on verbose boot (which is very cool looking might I add).

YOU CANNOT PERMANENTLY DAMAGE YOUR IPOD. How many times am I going to say this? Its called RESTORE MODE people. The only way to BRICK your iPod is to perform a hardware upgrade.

the only reason i haven't jailbroken my 1.1.3 is because i just got the january app pack, and i don't want to downgrade and lose my twenty dollar investment. (which i know isn't that much) and i figure i'll just wait for a while until it's a positive thing that ziphone will work on my ipot.
