Tired of colourless iTunes 10?

    If you've just installed iTunes 10 then you're likely to be hating the colourless new look. Everything is grayscale. Even the preferences pane. If you're like me and you hate it, you can try this file mod to change back the icons to colour using the old iTunes 9 icons.

    Just navigate to the link below and download the rsrc file. Navigate to iTunes in your applications folder, right click and click on show package contents. Now navigate to contents then resources. Drag the downloaded file here and paste it here. Overriding the current one.

    thanks, it worked.
    but i kind of like the new grayscale. just not the icon. gives itunes a metallic feel and look.

    Right click and "Show Package Contents" on iTunes to show 'Contents' folder. Back up and replace your /Applications/iTunes.app/Contents/Resources/iTunes.rsrc with the included file.

    Your mileage may vary. Tested only with iTunes 10.0.0 Intel Mac.
