time show while ipod is locked ?

    How do i make time show up when the screen i shut/lock like ipod classic while playing music it will show up play icon besides the time ?

    u know when you click on lock buttom then screen shuts down and i just want to know if is possible to make that time show up on the screen like classic

    i dont think you can like a classic, if you lock the screen you cant see anything, but it you click lock again, you can see the time there, but it would waster battery to keep it on the whole time like the classic does

    No. When you press the lock button on an iPod Touch, it shuts off the screen (sleep mode lol).

    Hitting the top button puts the iPod to sleep. This is like holding down the Play/Pause button on the iPod Classic, which puts it to sleep. After a set number of time, it turns completely off, and you see the Apple logo on bootup.

    no the iPod touch does not do this....

    only regualr iPods shut COMPLETELY off after 12 hours, not touch's...

    it would be a waste of battery to keep the screen on to just display the time when u can just press the home of sleep button to see the time..... (personal opinion)
