I don't know why, but I think it began ever since daylight savings time occurred.
The time on my ipod touch always ends up 1hr ahead of the actual time, and the timezone changes to Ottawa even after setting it manually on the ipod touch.

The time and timezone on my computer is correctly set as well.
I searched the forums for similar problems and fixes, and tried the recommended solution but it didn't seem to work.

    This is what I did:

    from http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108702

    1. Open iTunes and Sync iPod Touch
    2. Verify that iPod Touch has the correct time.
    3. Put computer to sleep while iTunes is running.
    4. Wake computer up.
    5. Sync iPod Touch.
    6. Time on iPod Touch will be wrong.
    7. Close iTunes.
    8. Open iTunes and sync iPod Touch.
    9. iPod Touch will now display the correct time.

    Any other suggestions?
