Oh dear god. SHUT UP. FFS. You want to target Samsung for what honestly seems like false infringement... but all of the Chinese knock offs, you're just going to ignore?! I really don't understand your logic. Tim, you're an IDIOT. Whoop di doo, you threw a fit and got some more pocket money from Samsung. That doesn't make today an important day.

Doesn't do much for innovators either. It just scares people from designing and creating their own image. So what if there were SIMILARITIES, doesn't really mean jack. You have money to wave around, and power caused by fear.

Congratulations, more respect lost. Not just from me, oh no.. I know that for a fact there are more than a handful who feel that you have acted like a spoiled child.

Cry me a river, build a bridge, and GET OVER IT!

Why would Apple go after knockoffs when they make little to no money? It wouldn't even be worth the time Or money. They would pay more in lawyer fees then they would get from whatever company makes them.

As I've already said, everybody loses except for Apple. This means that Apple will do even less when designing future products and everybody else won't be able to take other people ideas and make them better for the consumer. Who the hell thought it would be a good idea to give them the rectangle with rounded edges patent?! Idiots!

Except for if you actually read the verdict, Samsung DID NOT violate the iPad patent... As in their 'rectangle with rounded corners' and Apple's 'rectangle with rounded corners' are different. Sorry, but please read before posting in the future.

Samsung aren't the real threat. Apples biggest threat is Microsoft. No matter how bad Windows 8 is for desktops, it's going to be one of the best ever tablet operating systems, and add a new variety of tablets that are going to directly compete with the iPad, it looks as if Apple will be having some tough competition soon.

And I honestly hope Apple don't start playing these childish games with Microsoft. We (consumers) want more devices, more choices and the freedom to do what we want without companies suing each other out of existence.

So yes Tim, you may have "won" this trial and sued Samsung, but they were never any real threat to Apple.

Tim stated that it's more than money. To me that's complete bullsh*t.

All I can say is we don't know half the details about what Samsung did. This allows Apple to continue innovating upon their design instead of changing to be like everyone else. This is helping the customer, not hurting it...

I agree and have some different opinions. I think consumers are going to abhor Windows 8 for like...three to six months, then they will realize they have to live with it. It is gonna hurt Microsoft at first. My sister and dad are switching to Mac because of Windows 8. They say if they have to learn a new Operating system it's gonna be a Mac. And after seeing my Macbook, they decided officially they would buy Macs next.

Samsung isn't a threat to Apple. Microsoft isn't much of a threat either...IMO...
