everything on my ipod only changes when i turn it so that the home button is on the left.

like in music and mail and safari it only goes landscape if i turn it to the right (so that the home button is on the left)

does this happen to anyone else?

No, I can turn it either way and the screen follows, your iPod doesn't like you.....

Well if you have some sort of warranty maybe you could get it fixed (if it really bothers you that much) but I would just try to get use to it.
