Has anyone noticed that the OEM sync cable makes a tight connection with their ipt4? ...or is it just me.

Absolutely. I was convinced I had it upside-down for a while when I first tried to plug it in. Then I thought maybe it's because it's not the cable that came with the new IPT4. Then that one was the exact same.

It's most definitely a tighter squeeze than the older versions.

I also have this problem, it's pretty tough trying to take it out. It worries me.

Wow and I thought my old cables did not work. However, it just seems apple did not think this one out.

Nice to hear that I am not alone. I might start to trim the cable's edge down.

yup i thought something was wrong with my charge wire at first, same the earphone jack too if it's not the stock apple earbuds..
put regular non-apple earphones in the jack and see what i mean, it barely fits

It's better then having it all loose and cause a spark.
